Diamond Push Ups are hard! For good reason too… If you're a beginner then make sure you can safely (and relatively easily) do 200 push ups a day before moving on to Diamond Push Ups. Once you're doing push ups everyday it's unlikely you'll have to do Diamond Push Ups on your knees.

Once you can do about 20 of those with perfect form, then you should move on to conquering the diamond form. Despite what most guys think, you don’t want to just increase your volume when it comes to bodyweight movements. Doing 100 diamond push-ups each day isn’t going to give you great results.

Sounds great....something I might try. I like the idea of setting a clock and banging our max rep pushups on day one and mixing up pushup styles (diamond, normal, wide grip etc) on day two etc. If someone had access to a pullup bar I would consider an additional two minutes of pullups/chin-ups (using whatever hand placement you wanted).
