Does Blue Diamond Pan have real diamonds? Incredibly, yes it does! Millions of microscopic crystals are infused to create a tough surface. Diamonds are the hardest material known to man. Transfer that to a saucepan coating and you will have a surface that will not scratch, crack or peel.

One of the differences between Blue Diamond vs copper pans such as Red Copper and Copper Chef is the former has a ceramic nonstick coating that is diamond-infused while the latter has copper infusion in their construction. The Blue Diamond is marketed as being harder, longer-lasting and having better heat transfer with the diamond element.

After a few months the food cooked in the Blue Diamond Pan begins to burn especially the food that is at the center of the pan. These are not REAL DIAMONDS. Deceptive marketing practice. The Blue Diamond Pan is no better than any other ordinary non-stick pan. Teflon coated frying pans work far better than the Blue Diamond Pan.

Diamonds are 4x more heat conductive than copper, so Red Diamond heats up faster and cleans up easier. Each Red Diamond pan is toxin-free and manufactured without PFAS, PFOA, lead, or cadmium. The riveted stainless steel handle provides a sturdy and secure grip. Dishwasher safe. Oven and broiler safe up to 600°F.

For the fog test, hold the diamond or ring between two fingers and breath on it with a puff of air. A light fog will form on the diamond because of the moisture and heat in your breath. If the fog dissipates right away, the diamond is real. If it takes several seconds for the fog to disperse, it is likely a fake diamond.
