Reset a solitaire diamond and place diamonds on each side of it. Take a diamond out of a very tall, pointed setting and place it into a setting that's less likely to bump against everything you come into contact with. Remove a diamond with a slightly yellow cast from its yellow gold setting and place it into white gold or platinum. The contrast of the cooler tone will reduce the overload of yellow.
